The Solutions we provide may see your Employee Benefits insured with an insurance company, a Health Spending Account arrangement, or a combination of both.
Health Spending Accounts (HSA)
Health Spending Accounts provide a cost effective alternative to traditional insured plans. Each employee will have a dollar limit set for them to spend per annum. The Employee determines how they will utilize their HSA dollars. An HSA plan reimbursement is not taxable to the Employee, and is 100% tax deductible to the Employer.
Group Critical Illness (CI)
Group Critical Illness is a tax-free lump sum payment made 30 days after diagnosis and survival of a life threatening illness. Most contracts cover the big three illnesses: Heart Attack, Stroke and Cancer. Other illnesses such as: Severe Burns, MS, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's may be added. Critical Illness Insurance can assist an individual and their family with costs associated with their illness. There are no restrictions made on how the funds are to be used. An individual may choose to allocate these funds to make mortgage payments, make alterations to a home or vehicle, supplement disability insurance, or pay for specialized medical treatment, private nursing care, child care, or out of country treatment.
Critical Illness has an extensive underwriting process. This means not everyone will qualify to receive a CI offer. Under a group plan, all employees qualify for coverage, regardless of their medical situation.
Employee & Family Assistance Programs (EFAP)
EFAP is a professional and confidential service offered to employees and their families to assist with the timely resolution of problems impacting work performance, wellness and/or behavior. EFAP provides a full range of services to assist with life events including: addiction, aging parents, anger management, child development, depression, family dynamics, grief and bereavement, marriage, separation, divorce, custody, special needs children, stress and more.
